Cheese Straws 101

So...what is a Cheese Straw exactly?

Cheese Straws are a type of cheese cracker.  They are traditionally found in England and the Southern United States and are a holiday treat, southern appetizer, and holiday favorite.  They are made with flour and a variety of cheeses, seasonings, spices, come in different shapes, and usually have some degree of heat.
